GS Engineering & Construction said on the 25th it will open the model home for Changwon Xi The Sky, which will be built by developing the former Changwon Hotel site in Jungang-dong, Seongsan District, Changwon Special City, and begin full-fledged sales.
Changwon Xi The Sky is a supertall residential-commercial complex to be built at 99-4, 5, 6 Jungang-dong, Seongsan District, Changwon, with five basement floors to a maximum of 49 above-ground floors across four buildings, exclusive areas of 84 and 106 square meters, and a total of 519 households. Of these, 509 units will be offered for general sale, excluding 10 contributed acceptance units (84㎡ E type). The number of general-sale units by exclusive area is ▲84㎡ 464 units ▲106㎡ 45 units.
Applications will be accepted on the Korea Real Estate Board (REB) subscription website, with special supply on Mar. 30, first-priority applications on Mar. 31, and second-priority applications on Apr. 1. Winners will be announced on Apr. 7, followed by three days of contract signing from Apr. 20 to 22.
Changwon Xi The Sky can conveniently use all the already-established infrastructure nearby. The area features a range of facilities such as Lotte Department Store, E-MART, Megabox, and Changwon Hospital, and government offices including Changwon City Hall, Changwon District Prosecutors' Office, and Changwon District Court are also close.
The transportation environment is also good. Jungang-daero, Changwon-daero, and Woni-daero make it easy to travel within and beyond Changwon, and KTX Changwon Jungang Station nearby enables fast travel to Seoul, the greater metropolitan area, and major cities nationwide. In addition, numerous elementary, middle, and high schools such as Yongji Elementary School, Ungnam Middle School, Changwon Nam Middle School, Changwon Nam High School, and Changwon Jungang Girls' High School are adjacent, and green spaces such as Daesang Park, Olympic Park, and Jungang Sports Park are also close.
Changwon Xi The Sky features the area's tallest height at 49 stories along with a curtain-wall-look exterior design and Xi's signature lighting, "UniXi." The community facility, "Club Xi-an," will include a fitness club, golf practice range (GDR), Pilates, a dry sauna, single-person study rooms, and a café lounge, and the top floor of Building 102 will have Club Cloud, a residents-only sky lounge. In particular, Club Cloud will house a small library where Kyobo Bookstore will provide book curation services.
The units offer a four-bay, four-room layout (except for some types) and a 2.4-meter ceiling height to enhance openness, ventilation, and daylight, and a three-sided balcony design is applied to all units to improve space utilization.
Meanwhile, Changwon Xi The Sky applied terms that allow contracts with a 5% first down payment. Including a 5% second down payment, the total down payment is 10%, with 60% of the interim payment on a deferred interest basis and the remaining 30% as the balance.
A GS Engineering & Construction official said, "Changwon Xi The Sky will become a landmark with a symbolic location connecting Changwon's past and future and the tallest height in the Seongsan District area," adding, "We put our utmost effort into product preparation to meet expectations based on the differentiated product competitiveness of the Xi brand."
The model home for Changwon Xi The Sky will be set up at 101-3 Jungang-dong, Seongsan District, Changwon, South Gyeongsang Province (near the project site), with move-in scheduled for the first half of 2030.
