Lotte Engineering & Construction noted that the Yangbeol-dong and Ssangnyeong-dong area of Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province, where the complex will be built, stands to benefit from transportation network expansion, a mixed-use development around Gwangju Station, and a private park development special project. Gyeonggi Gwangju Station Lotte Castle Signature District 1 is within walking distance of Gyeonggi Gwangju Station (Gyeonggang Line). Gyeongchung-daero is well connected near the complex, providing excellent access to Taejeon JC, Gyeonggi Gwangju JC, and Ssangdong JC.
Also, Gwangju Sports Complex, directly in front of District 1, was completed this month. The civic gymnasium and Gwangju City Water Park are also within walking distance of District 1. In addition, the Gyeongan Stream, where an eco-cultural waterfront park project is planned, is near the complex, and within about a 10-minute drive are large retail facilities and a traditional market, including E-MART (Gwangju branch), Hanaro Mart (Gwangju branch), and Gyeongan Market.
A sales official said, "Gyeonggi Gwangju Station Lotte Castle Signature District 1 sits at the center of three core development axes: expanded transportation infrastructure, mixed-use development around the station, and park creation," adding, "With a differentiated design that maximizes the locational advantage of embracing Ssangnyeong Park, which will be created at a scale equivalent to about 57 soccer fields, we expect to present a new residential standard that leads qualitative improvements across housing and daily life in downtown Gwangju."
Gyeonggi Gwangju Station Lotte Castle Signature District 1 is operating advance PR centers in Gyeongan-dong, Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province, and Yatap-dong, Bundang-gu, Seongnam. The model home is slated to open in Tanbeol-dong, Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province. Move-in is scheduled for 2030.
