Chinhung International, an affiliate of Hyosung, said on the 19th that Harrington Place Oryong Station, to be built in Jung District, Daejeon, will open its model home on the 20th and begin its full sales schedule.
Harrington Place Oryong Station is located at 722 Yongdu-dong, Jung District, Daejeon, and will consist of five buildings with 5 basement levels to 26 above-ground floors, all 84-square-meter exclusive units, totaling 427 households. With building layouts oriented mostly to the south, the complex secures views and wide distances between buildings, and applies a piloti design to the entire first floor.
By type, the number of units is ▲84㎡A 147 units ▲84㎡B 150 units ▲84㎡B1 14 units ▲84㎡C 76 units ▲84㎡D 14 units ▲84㎡E 14 units ▲84㎡F 12 units. All units are supplied in a single size of 84㎡ exclusive, known as the standard national floor plan.
Applications open with special supply on Mar. 23, followed by first-priority on the 24th and second-priority on the 25th. Winners will be announced on the 31st, document submissions will run from Apr. 3 to 5, and regular contracts will be conducted for three days from the 13th to the 15th.
First-priority eligibility is for residents of Daejeon, Sejong, and South Chungcheong who are 19 or older, and if they have held a subscription savings account for at least six months and meet the deposit requirement, not only heads of household but also household members and homeowners can apply. If selected, the resale restriction is six months, allowing resale before move-in, and there are no restrictions on winning again or obligations for actual residence.
Under the contract terms, the down payment is set at 5% of the total sale price. Unlike most projects that set the down payment at 10%–20%, cutting it by more than half is expected to lower the entry barrier for those struggling with initial funds. In addition, a flat first down payment of 5 million won has been applied to significantly reduce the initial burden for buyers.
For interior layouts, pantries, dressing rooms, powder rooms, and alpha rooms are offered by type to enhance space efficiency. A total of 587 parking spaces, or about 1.37 per household, has been secured. With a preliminary certification for zero-energy buildings (level 5), utility cost savings are also expected.
A sales official said, "Harrington Place Oryong Station has continued to receive steady inquiries even before sales because it combines station-area access, strong school access, and convenient living infrastructure with product strength," adding, "As it is considered a rare offering in central Daejeon where new supply has been limited, we expect strong interest in the subscription market." The model home is located at 692-5, Bongmyeong-dong, Yuseong District, Daejeon.
