As in the previous year, the most expensive apartment this year was found to be "Eterno Cheongdam," an apartment along the Han River in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Its officially assessed price is about 32.5 billion won.
According to this year's draft officially assessed prices for multifamily housing released by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport on the 17th, the officially assessed price for the 464.11㎡ unit at Eterno Cheongdam is 32.57 billion won this year, the highest in the country. It rose by 12.5 billion won in one year from last year's officially assessed price of 20.06 billion won.
Eterno Cheongdam is the only apartment in Korea with an officially assessed price exceeding 30 billion won. It was designed by Spanish architect Rafael Moneo, a Pritzker Prize winner, and consists of one building with 29 households. It is also known as the place where singer IU bought a 74-pyeong unit for 13 billion won and actor Song Joong-ki bought for 15 billion won.
Second place was "Nine One Hannam" in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul. The officially assessed price for the 244.72㎡ unit at Nine One Hannam is 24.28 billion won this year, up about 7.9 billion won from last year. Nine One Hannam ranked third last year but rose to second this year. Numerous famous entertainers, including RM and Jimin of BTS, G-Dragon of Big Bang, actors Lee Jong-seok and Ju Jihoon, as well as many business figures such as Hur Young-in, chairman of SPC Group, and Yoo Seok-hun, president of EUGENE Corporation, have moved in.
PH129 in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul ranked third at 23.23 billion won for 407.71㎡. It drew attention last year when BTS member V purchased a 273.96㎡ exclusive-use unit in cash for 14.2 billion won. Next, Warner Cheongdam in the same Cheongdam-dong ranked fourth at 22.48 billion won for 341.6㎡.
Fifth place went to ACRO Seoul Forest in Seongsu-dong 1-ga, Seongdong-gu, Seoul. The officially assessed price for the 273.93㎡ unit is 20.71 billion won, climbing two spots from seventh last year to fifth. Until last year, Eterno Cheongdam was the only apartment with an officially assessed price exceeding 20 billion won, but this year all of the top five multifamily housing units exceeded 20 billion won.

All of the top 10 are apartments in Seoul, with Yongsan-gu accounting for the most at four. That was followed by three in Gangnam-gu, two in Seocho-gu, and one in Seongdong-gu.
