Seoul City said on the 17th that the Seoul Investment Promotion Agency, the city's dedicated investment-attraction body, held investment consultations on Seoul's key development projects with more than 130 investors and corporations at MIPIM 2026, the world's largest international real estate expo, held in Cannes, France, from the 9th to the 13th.
MIPIM (Le Marché International des Professionnels de l'Immobilier) is an event where major global cities, public institutions, real estate developers, investment firms, and financial institutions gather to discuss urban development and real estate investment opportunities. Since 1990, it has been organized by "Reed MIDEM," a French media group.
At this year's MIPIM 2026, the foundation set up the Seoul Pavilion and introduced major Seoul development projects and industrial complexes to global investment firms (Tokyu corporation, IGIS Europe).
The foundation introduced key planned development sites in Seoul, including Yongsan Seoul Core and Sanggye Seoul Digital Bio City (S-DBC), as well as strategic industrial complexes such as Yangjae artificial intelligence (AI), Yeouido finance, Magok advanced technology, and DMC media industries.
