The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport said on the 13th that, based on Jan. 1, 2026, it will conduct a 20-day process for owners to review and submit opinions on the draft officially assessed prices of multiunit housing (about 15.85 million units) from the 18th to Apr. 6.
Submitted opinions will undergo internal review by the investigator (Korea Real Estate Board (REB)), evaluation by outside experts, and deliberation by the Central Real Estate Price Announcement Committee, and will be finalized and announced on Apr. 30 this year.
The officially assessed prices for multiunit housing in 2026 applied the same realization rate as the previous year (69%) in line with the 2026 real estate price announcement plan. By maintaining the same realization rate as the previous year, only market price changes are reflected in calculating the officially assessed prices for multiunit housing.
The specific rate of change in the officially assessed prices for multiunit housing will be explained in detail to the public before the draft prices are made available for review.
