HomeCC, the interior brand of KCC Glass, unveiled its new stone-design engineered wood flooring with a large square format, "Soop Engineered Wood Stone Square," and said on the 13th it will target the "stoneterrior" (Stone+Interior) market.
KCC Glass said large square tiles are emerging as a new design trend in the interior market. The analysis is that the stable sense of balance created by straight lines and the visual effect of making spaces look larger are being emphasized.
A KCC Glass official said that as the stoneterrior and minimalism interior trends spread, square tiles that emphasize refined symmetry with the calm texture of natural stone are drawing attention.
Soop Engineered Wood Stone Square reflects the large square tile trend, releasing the stone-design engineered wood flooring "Soop Engineered Wood Stone" in a large format with an equal 1:1 ratio measuring 597 mm in both width and length.
This product retains the existing features of Soop Engineered Wood Stone, which combines the aesthetics of tile with the warmth of wood flooring. It precisely reproduces the natural colors and patterns of stone and completes a realistic design by enhancing the texture through Real Embossing technology that aligns the pattern with the surface embossing. Compared with tile, it also offers a warm and comfortable underfoot feel by leveraging wood flooring's ability to retain heat longer.
Soop Engineered Wood Stone Square uses grade 1 water-resistant plywood and a high-strength HPL (High Pressure Laminate) surface coating, making it more resistant to temperature and humidity changes and offering superior wear and stain resistance compared with engineered wood flooring products made with general fiberboard.
It uses SE0 (Super E0), the highest grade of eco-friendly material, and has been certified with the Environmental Label by the Ministry of Climate, Energy and Environment, recognizing the product's safety. The "micro-beveling" process softens the edge finish, enabling clean installation, which is another strength.
