HanmiGlobal said on the 6th that Jeon Chae-eun, a professional at the company's in-house Construction Strategy Research Institute, won an Honorable Mention in the Concrete Pavilion International Competition hosted by Buildner, a global architecture competition platform.
Buildner is a specialist organization for international architecture competitions founded in 2011. Jeon designed a sustainable, eco-friendly concrete structure that minimizes contact with the ground to reduce environmental damage. The proposal was highly rated for presenting an architectural system capable of active environmental control.
A HanmiGlobal official said, "We are conducting research to enhance the value of the construction industry and establish an advanced construction culture," and added, "We are operating various programs, including the Global PM University (GPMU), to develop our members' professional capabilities."
