EUGENE Corporation, the parent company of Eugene Group, is moving to strengthen AI (artificial intelligence) capabilities among leader-level employees, accelerating companywide digital transformation and smart management.
EUGENE Corporation said on the 5th that it recently launched an "AI Intensive" course for executives and Head of Team at headquarters to build hands-on AI skills. The program is being held in four sessions from on the 13th of last month to on the 13th of this month. It focuses on helping leaders at the front lines of management skillfully use AI as a strategic tool.
The course was prepared to concretely apply to field operations the management policy of "strengthening AI capabilities" emphasized in this year's New Year's address. Yu Kyung-sun, chair of Eugene Group, said in the address, "Our competitors are not peers in the same industry but global companies changing the world with AI," adding, "AI is the last and best opportunity that can instantly leap beyond all our past track records."
EUGENE Corporation plans to use this training as a starting point to build a rational, data-based decision-making system and actively introduce AI from strategy development through execution to raise the competitiveness of the entire organization by a notch.
The curriculum is also structured to be practice-centered, emphasizing on-the-job applicability over theory. Participants directly carried out tasks such as AI-based management strategy analysis, methods to build decision-making data, AI simulation utilization, and process automation techniques that maximize work efficiency, improving their capabilities for practical application.
An EUGENE Corporation official said, "This training goes beyond understanding how AI works and is designed as a practice-centered program that can be applied in actual work settings," adding, "Starting with executive education, we will sequentially introduce AI utilization courses to companywide training to establish an AI culture and spread a data-based decision-making system."
