It is an estimate of multifamily dwellings scheduled for occupancy over the next two years, from January this year to December 2027 (reference point: end of December 2025).
In Seoul, the number of multifamily dwellings scheduled for occupancy is projected at 27,158 units this year and 17,197 units next year, totaling 44,355 units. The released estimates of scheduled occupancy were derived using housing construction performance data held by Korea Real Estate Board (REB) and Real Estate R114, notices of resident recruitment, redevelopment progress records, and Real Estate R114 data.
However, changes after the reference point (December 2025) are not reflected, and the current estimates may change due to later adjustments such as schedule changes for individual complexes or additional units from post-sale projects.
Details on the scheduled occupancy can be found through the Korea Real Estate Board (REB) Real Estate Statistics Information System R-ONE, the Korea Real Estate Board (REB) application home, and the Public Data Portal.
