Marking its 50th anniversary, HDC Holdings Co. Group will push to change the names of nine affiliates, including renaming HDC Hyundai Development Company to "IPARK Hyundai Development Company."
HDC Holdings Co. Group said on the 25th that it disclosed notices convening shareholders meetings for key affiliates and placed the name changes on the agendas.
The existing HDC Hyundai Development Company, HDC I&Cons, HDC I'Park Mall, HDC Shilla Duty Free, HDC Young Chang, HDC Sports, HDC Resort, Hotel HDC, and I'Park Marina will change their names to IPARK Hyundai Development Company, IPARK I&Cons, IPARK Mall, IPARK Shilla Duty Free, IPARK Young Chang, IPARK Sports, IPARK Resort, Hotel IPARK, and IPARK Marina.
However, affiliates in the artificial intelligence (AI) and energy sectors will continue to use HDC in their names.
HDC Holdings Co. Group plans to hold a 50th-anniversary ceremony on the 18th of next month and unveil a new corporate identity (CI) and a future vision reflecting its new direction.
The new names will be used after each affiliate completes its shareholders meeting approval procedures.
Earlier, in 2018, the group shifted to a holding company structure and changed all affiliate names to strengthen identity and business connectivity.
