The Banpo Mido 1st Apartment reconstruction and maintenance association said on the 13th that it filed an integrated review application with Seocho District that day.
The integrated review, under the Act on the Improvement of Urban Areas and Residential Environments, streamlines redevelopment procedures by consolidating reviews for architecture, landscape, traffic, environment, disaster, education, parks, and changes to the maintenance plan needed for project implementation plan approval. Banpo Mido 1st held its inaugural general meeting in Jul. last year and selected Heerim Architects as the designer, and received approval for association establishment at the end of Sep.
Completed in 1986, Banpo Mido 1st is a complex with eight buildings, up to 15 stories, and 1,260 households. Through reconstruction, the association plans to build nine buildings with a maximum of 49 stories and 1,743 households.
