Samsung C&T's construction division (hereafter Samsung C&T) said on the 11th that three complexes in which it participated in construction and the Raemian Gallery received seven main prizes at the 2026 Asia Design Prize on the 10th.
By category, in the space and architecture category, Raemian One Perla (exterior design and landscaping), Raemian One Penthus (exterior design), and Jamsil Raemian I-Park (landscaping) won, and in the communication category, the Raemian Gallery won the main prize "Winner."
The Asia Design Prize is Asia's largest international design competition that selects winners from more than 1,500 entries from 31 countries based on aesthetics, originality, and practicality in the space, industrial, and communication fields.
At Raemian One Perla, the "Wind Library Garden," a book cafe that uses the traditional Korean landscaping method of borrowed scenery, the "Green Art Gallery Garden," which captures beautiful night views using media glass, and an exterior design with geometric unity earned three main prizes within a single complex, drawing high marks.
Raemian One Penthus features an organically linear exterior design inspired by light reflected on the Han River, and Jamsil Raemian I-Park won main prizes for the "Blue Forest Garden," where visitors can enjoy a panoramic view from four different locations, and the "Blue Wave Playground," designed with curves inspired by the flow and undulations of water.
The Raemian Gallery won a main prize in the communication field for "My Raemian City," an interactive experience that connects landmark buildings of Samsung C&T colored directly by customers with media art.
With this year's honors, Samsung C&T became the first domestic builder to win the Asia Design Prize for six consecutive years.
