Hyundai Engineering said on the 10th that it won for the third straight year, being selected as a "Winner" in two institutional sector categories at the ASIA DESIGN PRIZE 2026.
The ASIA DESIGN PRIZE is Asia's largest international design competition, launched in 2016. It selects Asia's best designs through in-depth evaluations of aesthetics, innovation, new technology, and form. This year, it reviewed 1,515 entries from 31 countries and chose a total of 329 award-winning works.
Hyundai Engineering said that in the space/architecture institutional sector, VIVARIUM received an award, and in the communication institutional sector, the work My APARTMENT in My Moments also received an award.
The landscaping space VIVARIUM applied to "Hillstate Sosa Station" uses 16 mirrored walls at various angles and heights to reflect light, wind, water, and trees, creating a dynamic landscape that changes over time. In particular, Hyundai Engineering maximized climate-change resilience by selecting tree species with consideration for environmental conditions such as carbon absorption. It also purifies the air through a mist-fog device and enhances the effect of mitigating the heat island phenomenon.
My APARTMENT in My Moments is a postcard-style bookmark and coloring template produced during the 2024 sales of "Hillstate Osan The Class" to communicate with customers. It expresses everyday apartment scenes with emotional illustrations. A Hyundai Engineering official said it strengthened the emotional consolidation with the apartment by allowing customers to fill in colors themselves and include messages. Illustrator Rosienna, who has depicted happy moments of daily life with a soft and warm sensibility, took part in the illustrations.
Hyundai Engineering also received top prizes last year at the ASIA DESIGN PRIZE, the International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA), the Good Design Award, and the Korea Color Awards.
A Hyundai Engineering official said, "We are developing a variety of landscaping and products for apartments to create spaces that go beyond simple residences and fill the precious times of life," adding, "We will continue to strive to offer residents differentiated experiences."
