DL E&C has marshaled its companywide capabilities to win the contract for the Apgujeong District 5 reconstruction project, a symbol of Korea's wealthiest neighborhood.
DL E&C said it greeted Apgujeong District 5 association members on their way to work at 6:30 a.m. on the 10th in the Apgujeong District 5 area of Gangnam-gu, Seoul, with about 200 executives and employees taking part.
DL E&C executives and employees put up banners bearing phrases such as "ACRO will make Apgujeong District 5 the No. 1 complex in Korea." They then offered morning greetings for about 2 hours and 30 minutes to Apgujeong District 5 association members on their way to work.
DL E&C employees declared fair competition and pledged a transparent bidding campaign. Citing overwhelming brand power, differentiated product competitiveness, a design offering 100% Han River views for association members, and the fastest project execution, the company expressed its ambition to become a successful business partner for Apgujeong District 5.
A DL E&C official said, "To make Apgujeong District 5 the most valuable apartment in Apgujeong, we plan to mobilize the company's full capabilities to participate in the project," adding, "Unlike other builders, we will focus solely on bidding for Apgujeong District 5 within Apgujeong and present the best business terms for this site," conveying sincerity.

Apgujeong District 5 is a project to integrate and reconstruct Apgujeong Hanyang Phase 1 and 2 into eight buildings ranging from five underground floors to 68 above-ground floors, with 1,397 households of multifamily housing. With its location along the Han River and strong school district, it is considered one of the biggest reconstruction projects this year. The Apgujeong District 5 association plans to issue a bid notice for contractor selection on the 11th of this month and hold a general meeting to select the contractor in May.
