Lotte Construction said on the 8th that it won the redevelopment contract for the housing maintenance-type project in Geumho District 21 in Seongdong-gu, Seoul. With this, Lotte Construction's cumulative orders this year surpassed 1 trillion won.
The Geumho District 21 redevelopment will transform the area around 1 Geumhodong 3-ga, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, into 16 apartment buildings ranging from six floors underground to 20 floors above ground, totaling 1,242 dwellings, along with auxiliary and welfare facilities. The total construction cost is about 624.2 billion won.
The site is adjacent to Geumnam Market and is about a 15-minute walk from Geumho Station on Line 3. The surrounding natural environment includes Eungbong Mountain, Dalmaji Neighborhood Park, Maebongsan Park, Seoul Forest, Jungnangcheon, and the Han River.
Lotte Construction plans to create a garden featuring a giant central plaza and various green and water features by utilizing a grade difference of up to 45 meters within the complex. An integrated parking area and community facilities will be provided underground.
Lotte Construction recorded 1.1082 trillion won in cumulative orders just two months into the year, surpassing 1 trillion won. As its first order of the year, Lotte Construction won the reconstruction project for Garak Geukdong Apartment in Songpa-gu, Seoul, on the 17th of last month (about 484 billion won).
