Daewoo Engineering & Construction said on the 23rd that President Kim Bo-hyeon visited the redevelopment site for Seongsu Strategic Maintenance Zone District 4 (hereafter Seongsu District 4) on the 22nd, encouraged employees preparing a bid, and urged them to bid with the best business terms.
Kim said, "Seongsu District 4 is a symbolic project site that will redefine the future residential landscape of Seoul," and emphasized, "Mobilize all of the high-end residential business capabilities and technologies that Daewoo Engineering & Construction has accumulated to prepare the optimal proposal that can satisfy the association and the local community." Kim then encouraged the employees who are fully engaged in bid preparation, saying, "The passion and expertise of each and every employee are the competitiveness of Daewoo Engineering & Construction."
Daewoo Engineering & Construction has presented the vision of "Only One Seongsu" for Seongsu District 4, outlining a plan to maximize the urban context and the unique identity of "Seongsu." To that end, it partnered on design with Meier Architects, founded by Pritzker Prize winner Richard Meier in the United States; on structural engineering with Arup in the United Kingdom; and on landscaping with Grant Associates in the United Kingdom.
