In Gwanggyo New Town, the average sale price of apartments with exclusive areas of 59–84 square meters, known as the "national standard size," exceeded 1.1 billion won. Some complexes changed hands at prices topping 1.7 billion won.
On the 20th, real estate information platform Jipboom said that an analysis of sale transactions for Gwanggyo New Town apartments with exclusive areas of 59–84 square meters from Nov. 1 last year to on the 20th showed an average sale price of 1.13807 billion won.
By area, Iui-dong in Yeongtong District recorded the highest levels in both price and transaction volume, with an average sale price of 1.32624 billion won and 75 transactions. In addition, Woncheon-dong (sale price 1.05313 billion won·53 transactions) and Ha-dong (sale price 1.03485 billion won·47 transactions) also transacted at averages above 1 billion won.
The highest-priced transaction within Gwanggyo New Town came from Gwanggyo Xi The Class in Sanghyeon-dong. The 84.938-square-meter unit changed hands for 1.78 billion won on Dec. 30 last year.
A Jipboom official said, "In Gwanggyo New Town, the 59–84-square-meter exclusive range has the strongest end-user demand, but transactions are concentrated in Iui-dong, and even within the same Gwanggyo New Town, there is a clear split between complexes that attract demand."
