Lee said this at the Kye-Ryong Group's 56th anniversary ceremony held at 4 p.m. on the 16th-floor auditorium of Kye-Ryong Construction's headquarters in Tanbang-dong, Daejeon, on the 19th. The ceremony was attended by executives, employees, and partner company representatives, and executives and employees working at overseas sites and across Korea joined via a live online broadcast.
At the ceremony, the group also presented awards and commendations to long-serving employees, outstanding employees and departments/sites, and excellent partner companies.
Founded in 1970, Kye-Ryong Construction has maintained steady growth every year and has grown into a construction company ranked 15th in the national construction capability evaluation, leading the domestic construction market based on its accumulated technology and know-how.
Kye-Ryong Group is being credited with a "turnaround," having pursued selective order management, aggressive cost control, conservative financial operations, and systematic business management, along with a portfolio diversification strategy to prepare for a market downturn, despite internal and external crises last year.
This year, the group plans to further strengthen Kye-Ryong's unique competitiveness across public, private, and development businesses, and to focus on securing both quantitative growth and qualitative substance through strategic orders. The distribution and leisure institutional sector also aims to overcome the economic slump through platform diversification and differentiated marketing strategies based on enhanced service quality.
