Zai S&D said on the 14th that it plans to begin sales of Sangju ZiRene in February at 840 Yunjik-ri, Hamchang-eup, Sangju, North Gyeongsang.
Sangju ZiRene is the first ZiRene brand complex to be built in Sangju, which had been a barren land for brand-name apartments. Sangju City has had no sales since 2020. In particular, Hamchang-eup, where the complex will be located, has had no new sales for 11 years since 2014.
The complex will have two basement levels and rise up to 29 stories, with a total of 773 homes. It will be the largest and tallest complex in the Sangju area. By exclusive use area, it will comprise ▲ 84㎡ 565 homes ▲ 99㎡ 126 homes ▲ 112㎡ 2 homes ▲ 125㎡ 78 homes ▲ 135㎡ PH 2 homes. It will be developed as a high-end, mid- to large-size complex featuring innovative 4-bay and 5-bay layouts.
Notably, it will include high-end community facilities such as Sangju's first sky community (sky lounge, Kyobo Bookstore), as well as fitness, screen golf, sauna, a small library, and a study room. It will also be Sangju's first complex designed with 100% underground parking, creating park-style landscaping on the ground level, and linking with a contributed acceptance park around the complex to provide a pleasant residential environment.
The transportation environment is excellent. The complex is close to the Saamae Intersection on National Route 3 and the Jeomchon-Hamchang IC, making travel to nearby cities easy. Through Hamchang-ro, residents can conveniently use the abundant infrastructure of downtown Jeomchon in Mungyeong.
The Mungyeong–Gimcheon railway project, a key section of the Jungbu high-speed line consolidating the Seoul metropolitan area and the southern inland, is being pursued with a groundbreaking in 2027 and an opening in 2033.
The education environment is also strong. A public daycare center and a community child care center are planned within the complex. Students can walk to Hamchang Elementary School (with an affiliated kindergarten). Hamchang Middle and High School and Sangji Girls' Middle School are also adjacent to the complex.
Daily-life infrastructure is convenient. Hanaro Mart (Hamchang branch), Homeplus Co. (Mungyeong branch), Mungyeong Jeil Hospital, banks, and other amenities are close to the complex. Leisure and cultural facilities such as Mungyeong Civic Stadium and the Silk Museum are also nearby.
Its future industrial value is also noteworthy. Sangju City, where the complex will be located, is fostering the secondary battery industry as a next-generation growth engine. The global silicon anode material corporations Group14 Technologies Korea has entered the Sangju Cheongni General Industrial Complex and is making a large-scale investment.
