Korea Real Estate Investment & Trust Co. (KOREIT) said on the 9th that the REITs "Koreit Tower" received a Gold rating from the global eco-friendly certification system (LEED). LEED certification is a green building certification system established by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). It is granted by evaluating environmental performance across the entire life cycle of a building, from design to operation.
Koreit Tower earned a Gold rating in the LEED "Existing Buildings: Operations and Maintenance (O+M)" category. In particular, the O+M certification focuses on "actual operational performance," making it a key indicator used to gauge the sustainable management level of an asset.
A Korea Real Estate Investment & Trust Co. (KOREIT) official said, "This recognizes internationally that Koreit Tower is an asset that practices environmental responsibility throughout its entire operation," adding, "We will continue to enhance the long-term value of the asset and ESG performance through systematic operation and management."
