The average pre-sale price for a Seoul apartment with an exclusive area of 84 square meters topped 1.9 billion won for the first time in Dec. last year. It is the first time the average pre-sale price for a Seoul apartment with an exclusive area of 84 square meters has exceeded 1.9 billion won.
According to an analysis on the 8th by pre-sale evaluation firm RealHouse of data from the Korea Real Estate Board (REB)'s Cheongyak Home, the average pre-sale price for an 84-square-meter exclusive area apartment in Seoul in Dec. last year was 1,904.93 million won, up 7.18% from the previous month's 1,777.24 million won. RealHouse has compiled the related statistics since 2020, and this is the highest pre-sale price since compilation began. Even considering the real estate market before the statistics were compiled, there appears to have been no case of a higher pre-sale price in the past.
The nationwide average pre-sale price for private apartments with an exclusive area of 84 square meters also exceeded 700 million won for the first time, recording 713.08 million won. It rose by nearly 70 million won in one year from 648.09 million won in Jan. last year.
For an exclusive area of 59 square meters, the nationwide private apartment pre-sale price in Dec. last year was 526.07 million won, up 3.47% from the previous month's 508.43 million won. In Seoul, the same size was tallied at a pre-sale price of 1,409.91 million won.
