Korea Land & Housing Corporation (LH) said on Jan. 8 that the notice finalizing the decision on the redevelopment plan and the designation of the redevelopment zone for the Dorim 1 District public redevelopment maintenance zone in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, has been completed.
The notice came about a month after a review by the 13th delegated subcommittee of the Seoul City Urban Planning Committee in Dec. 2024 and was achieved through active collaboration among LH, the Seoul Metropolitan Government, Yeongdeungpo-gu, and local residents.
The Dorim 1 District public redevelopment project will create a residential complex of 2,500 households on a site of about 107,000 square meters around 26-21 Dorim-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu. It will be built with a floor area ratio of up to 300% and a maximum height of 150 meters (45 stories). To strengthen the north-south axis consolidation extending from Yeongdeungpo Station, a public pedestrian passage is planned within the complex, and the area is expected to be transformed into an urban adaptive residential complex that harmonizes with nearby development sites.
Park Hyun-geun, head of the LH Metropolitan Area Maintenance Project Special Headquarters, said, "We will actively communicate with local residents and do our best to ensure the Dorim 1 District redevelopment project moves forward successfully."
