The complex that drew the most attention throughout 2025 was "Olympic Park Foreon" in Dunchon-dong, Gangdong District, Seoul.
Hogangnono, an apartment information platform operated by ZIGBANG CO., a leading domestic proptech corporations, on the 7th released the "2025 popular apartment rankings" containing this information. The rankings were compiled based on the number of unique visitors to apartment complex information pages throughout 2025 and show demand-side interest trends over the year.
The complex that drew the most attention last year was "Olympic Park Foreon" in Dunchon-dong, Gangdong District, Seoul. A total of 372,792 people visited the complex during the year, putting it in first place. The complex took the top spot in the quarterly rankings in both the first and second quarters and maintained the highest level of interest on an annual basis. In particular, in the nonscheduled subscription held in July last year, 224,693 people applied for four units. As the largest complex in Korea with a total of about 12,000 households, it has established itself as a representative complex of interest even after move-in.
Second place for the year was "Jamsil L'L" in Songpa District, Seoul. A total of 280,290 people visited, placing it near the top. The complex drew concentrated interest by ranking first in the third-quarter rankings, and the combination of price caps on pre-sale units and a Gangnam-area location at the time before sales is seen as having boosted demand-side interest.
Third place was "Helio City" in Songpa District, Seoul, with 279,062 visitors. From the first to the fourth quarter last year, the complex was listed near the top each quarter and received steady attention throughout the year. Observers said its status as a large-scale move-in complex and a landmark complex representing southeastern Seoul was reaffirmed.
Fourth place was "Hillstate Isu Station Central" in Dongjak District, Seoul. Interest in the complex gradually rose from the third quarter ahead of sales, and after the pre-sale announcement in October, the number of visitors in the fourth quarter surged, driving a sharp rise in its ranking. In fact, it recorded a triple-digit competition rate in the first-priority subscription, reflecting the high interest in the sales complex.
Fifth place was "Godeok Gracium" in Gangdong District, Seoul. Even though move-in was complete, it drew 197,027 visitors and remained near the top. Sixth and seventh were "Cheolsan Station Xi" and "Cheolsan Xi The Heritage" in Gwangmyeong, Gyeonggi Province. While "Cheolsan Station Xi" drew concentrated interest during the sales process, "Cheolsan Xi The Heritage" saw rising interest as move-ins began in May last year. In addition, users continued to visit throughout 2025, centered on complexes known as regional landmarks such as "Jamsil Els," "Seongbok Station Lotte Castle Gold Town," and "Mapo Raemian Prugio."
Quarterly rankings clearly show shifts in demand-side interest. In the first and second quarters, large-scale complexes with completed move-ins were strong, but as the year progressed, the share of complexes ahead of new sales and those on sale or slated for sale expanded. In the third quarter, Jamsil L'L rose to first place for the quarter, concentrating attention on complexes ahead of sales, and in the fourth quarter, many new-sale complexes in key locations in the greater Seoul area ranked near the top. This suggests that while interest repeatedly concentrates in complexes with location, scale and brand advantages on an annual basis, on a quarterly basis demand-side interest shifts depending on sales schedules and project stages.
Kim Eun-seon, head of big data lab at ZIGBANG CO., said, "On an annual basis, major new complexes in Seoul and new-sale complexes in the greater Seoul area rank near the top, clearly showing buyer preferences," and added, "We see a pattern of concentrated interest in complexes with price competitiveness due to price caps on pre-sale units or those with station-area locations and brand strength."
She added, "Existing move-in complexes also continue to draw steady attention, centered on regional landmarks, and on a quarterly basis we see a structure in which demand-side interest moves flexibly depending on sales schedules and project stages."
This trend is likely to continue in 2026. With supplies of move-in units remaining limited mainly in core areas of Seoul and the greater Seoul area, the structure of selectively concentrated interest among buyers is expected to persist for the time being, centered on complexes ahead of new sales and move-in timing. However, the speed and direction of shifting interest could become more sensitive depending on interest rates, lending conditions and changes in supply policy.
Hogangnono's "popular apartment rankings" are compiled based on the number of visitors to apartment complex information pages, and provide both quarterly and annual rankings. It also provides ranking information using various indicators such as transaction volumes based on actual transaction reports, price change rates and regional interest levels.
