Huh Yoon-hong, CEO of GS Engineering and Construction, held the 2026 kickoff ceremony at the Busan New Port infrastructure construction site on Jan. 5 and said, "2026 is an important turning point to further strengthen the basics and build future capabilities to complete a sustainable growth system."
Huh said that day, "Quality and safety, compliance with fair trade, and compliance management are our unchanging core tasks and action items for leaping forward as sustainable corporations," and urged, "As we start 2026, once again engrave the company's vision and do your best in your respective roles throughout the year."
The kickoff ceremony was held at the superstructure construction site for the Busan New Port South Container Terminal (2-6). On-site kickoff ceremonies have continued for three years since Huh took office. In 2024, it was held at the Seoul Maple Xi apartment site, and in 2025, it was held at the Seosan Daesan coastal industrial water supply plant site.
