Mid-sized construction companies plan to offer 1,409 dwellings nationwide in January next year.
The Korea Housing Builders Association said on the 31st that a tally of dwelling pre-sale plans for January 2026 among its member companies found that eight companies will supply a total of 1,409 dwellings at eight business sites.
This is down 69% (3,079 dwellings) from the previous month (4,488 dwellings). Compared with the same month a year earlier (1,973 dwellings), it fell 29% (564 dwellings).
In the Seoul metropolitan area, five construction companies will offer 936 dwellings in Incheon and in Gimpo, Yongin, and Ansan in Gyeonggi Province. There will be no offerings in Seoul.
Outside the metropolitan area, three construction companies will supply 473 dwellings in Jeonju, North Jeolla Province; Haenam, South Jeolla Province; and Jeju City.
