Bando E&C said on the 31st that the Gadeokdo New Airport Construction Authority has finalized its move-in to Bando Ivy Planet, the first large-scale Knowledge Industry Complex in Busan Eco Delta City.
According to Bando E&C, on the 30th, a signing ceremony for the transfer of headquarters to Bando Ivy Planet by Bando Ivy Planet and the Gadeokdo New Airport Construction Authority was held at the Bando Ivy Planet model house in Busan Eco Delta City.
Through this signing, the two sides plan to cooperate in various areas, including the transfer of Bando Ivy Planet's headquarters and the smooth operation and vitalization of the Knowledge Industry Complex, as a follow-up to the business agreement signed with Korea Water Resources Corporation (K-water) on the 18th to invigorate Busan Eco Delta City.
Busan Eco Delta City secured diversity of tenant corporations in July by expanding the eligible business categories for move-in to the Knowledge Industry Complex in Gangseo District, Busan. Previously, it was limited to a mixed-use office facility attracting knowledge-based industries such as manufacturing, information and communications, design, and research and development. After the expansion, a total of 15 future industry categories became eligible to move in, including ▲ OEM manufacturing ▲ comprehensive specialized construction ▲ legal services ▲ accounting and tax services ▲ video and audio production ▲ road freight transportation services ▲ smart farms.
The Gadeokdo New Airport Construction Authority plans to move in when the Eco Delta City Knowledge Industry Complex is completed at the end of October next year. A Bando E&C official said that the accompanying move-in of various corporations, including agencies under the authority and partner companies, can also be expected.
A Bando E&C official said, "With the move-in by the Gadeokdo New Airport Construction Authority confirmed, the stability and future value associated with attracting a state institution are coming to the fore, and interest from tenant-industry corporations is increasing."
Eco Delta City Bando Ivy Planet is the largest in Busan, with a total floor area of about 160,000 square meters, two basement levels to eight above-ground floors, 1,128 units in the Knowledge Industry Complex, and 82 neighborhood living facility units. Currently, manufacturing-type, office-type, and commercial facilities are on sale, and the standalone type is set to go on sale in February next year. The scheduled completion date is September next year.
