The Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Housing and Urban Development Corporation (SH) said on the 29th they will post a notice on the SH website for the second round of supply of the "general housing-type Miri Ne Jip (Newlywed and Newborn Purchase-Lease Housing II)."
The general housing-type Miri Ne Jip is a type created to broaden options for newlyweds who find it hard to prepare apartment lease deposits and is supplied at 60%–70% of market prices. In the first notice on Aug. 1, the average competition rate was 51 to 1.
This notice is divided into Round 2-1, which supplies refurbished existing dwellings, and Round 2-2, which supplies dwellings under new-build purchase agreements, and duplicate applications are allowed by notice.
Round 2-1 will recruit 333 households across five areas, including Geumcheon District. Of these, 30% will be supplied first to newlyweds without children or couples planning to marry, in consultation with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. Looking at the dwellings being recruited: ▲ Segyo Yejian (75 Gasan-ro, Geumcheon District), 40 units ▲ Gasan Civic (52 Gasan Digital 1-ro, Geumcheon District), 209 units ▲ Ista Park (18 Dosan-ro 9-gil, Geumcheon District), 56 units ▲ Hanbyeol 5 (205 Gurodong-ro, Guro District), 18 units ▲ Yungseong Greenville Phase 1 (17-9 Insu-bong-ro 80-gil, Gangbuk District), 10 units.
Round 2-2 is the first supply of newly built dwellings under purchase agreements. There are 74 households in total, including 38 in Guro District and 36 in Dobong District. In Guro District, supply is scheduled for Sep. next year, and in Dobong District, for May 2027.
If a birth occurs while living in the general housing-type Miri Ne Jip, priority relocation applications to the "apartment-type Miri Ne Jip" are allowed after 10 years of residence, ensuring step-by-step residential continuity from newlywed life to childcare and children's growth. For the "apartment-type Miri Ne Jip," after relocation and 10 years of residence, a priority purchase claim is granted, and a discounted purchase is available at 90% of market price with two children and 80% of market price with three children.
Applications can be submitted through the SH online subscription system, and the application period is three days from Jan. 21 to Jan. 23 next year.
