HDC Hyundai Development Company said on the 26th it was selected as the preferred bidder for the urban public housing complex project at Gulpocheon Station in Incheon.
According to HDC Hyundai Development Company, in the vote held on the 20th to select the constructor for the urban public housing complex project at Gulpocheon Station in Incheon, the consortium of HDC Hyundai Development Company and JEIL Construction Co. received approval from 227 of 248 members (91.5%) of the residents' council who attended.
The urban public housing complex project at Gulpocheon Station in Incheon will be pursued on and around 895-2, Bupyeong-dong, Bupyeong-gu, Incheon, with 14 buildings from 4 floors underground to 49 floors above ground and 3,016 apartment units. The total project cost is 1.06 trillion won, of which HDC Hyundai Development Company's share is 60%, or 636.1 billion won.
Within about a 1-kilometer radius of the site are Gulpocheon Station (Seoul Line 7) and Bupyeong-gu Office Station (Seoul Line 7, Incheon Line 1). Nearby, Bupyeong Station (Seoul Line 1, Incheon Line 1), where the GTX-B line of the Metropolitan Express Railway is planned, is located, providing a convenient transportation network.
Near the site are educational facilities including Gaeheung Elementary School, Bupyeong Middle School and Bupyeong High School. A variety of daily-life infrastructure is also within walking distance, including Lotte Mart Samsan branch, Bupyeong-gu Office, Sintree Library, Bupyeong Sintree Park and Gulpocheon Park.
HDC Hyundai Development Company plans to create an urban forest complex based on a sky landmark design rising up to 49 floors and a green park four times the size of a soccer field. It intends to apply high-quality designs such as a large-scale community for the large complex and a zero-energy complex.
A HDC Hyundai Development Company official said, "We will create a landmark complex connecting Incheon and Bucheon by adding HDC Hyundai Development Company's superior design to a site close to the station."
With the selection of the constructor for the urban public housing complex project at Gulpocheon Station in Incheon, HDC Hyundai Development Company reached 4.8012 trillion won in cumulative urban renewal orders this year. That is more than three times the 1.3331 trillion won recorded last year. HDC Hyundai Development Company plans to strengthen the I'Park competitiveness in Seoul and nationwide with a selective order strategy that considers both profitability and stability.
