Hanwha Construction Division and POSCO E&C will begin sales in Jan. next year for Forena The Sharp Incheon City Hall Station, to be built around 311-1, Ganseok-dong, Namdong-gu, Incheon.
The complex is a redevelopment project around 311-1, Ganseok-dong, near Sangincheon Elementary School, and will consist of 24 buildings from four floors underground to up to 35 floors above ground, with 2,568 units sized 39–84 square meters, of which 735 will be offered to the general public.
Forena The Sharp Incheon City Hall Station draws attention for its excellent transportation access. Incheon City Hall Station, which serves Incheon Subway Lines 1 and 2, and Ganseok Ogeori Station on Line 1 are within walking distance, making public transportation convenient. Access to the Capital Area Circular Expressways 1 and 2 and the Second Gyeongin Expressway is also easy via Gyeongin-ro. In addition, using metropolitan buses, it takes about an hour to reach Seoul's Hapjeong and Hongdaeipgu, which can attract commuters to and from Seoul.
Incheon City Hall Station is slated to open on the GTX-B line of the Metropolitan Express Railway, which is expected to significantly enhance transportation convenience and future value. The GTX-B line is an 82.8-kilometer east–west high-speed rail network connecting Songdo, Incheon, to Maseok, Namyangju, Gyeonggi, enabling fast travel to major business districts in Seoul such as Yeouido, Yongsan, Seoul Station and Cheongnyangni. When it opens, travel time from University of Incheon Entrance Station to Seoul Station is expected to be 30 minutes.
The education environment is also strong. The complex is "school within apartment," with Sangincheon Elementary School right in front, and within a 1-kilometer radius are clustered schools such as Sangincheon Middle School, Guwol Middle School, Ganseok Girls' Middle School, Sinmyeong Girls' High School, Inje High School and Incheon Arts High School, forming a one-stop academic district. In addition, it is expected to be easy to use the cram school district in nearby Guwol-dong.
Living infrastructure is plentiful. Large shopping facilities such as Homeplus Co. (Guwol), Lotte Department Store (Incheon) and Emart Traders (Guwol) are nearby, as are major public and medical institutions including Incheon City Hall, Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency, Ganseok 1-dong Administrative Welfare Center, Incheon Culture & Arts Center and Gachon University Gil Medical Center, enhancing residential convenience.
The complex also stands out as a "park within apartment" location with Ihwa Children's Park right in front. The park features exercise facilities, walking trails and tennis courts, allowing residents to enjoy leisurely recreation in the city. In addition, Central Park, which stretches 3.9 kilometers, as well as pocket parks and Manwol Mountain are nearby, promising a pleasant residential environment with abundant green infrastructure.
Forena The Sharp Incheon City Hall Station is drawing attention as a new for-sale complex that will carry forward the premium trend from redevelopment projects in Ganseok-dong and Guwol-dong. Along with Hanwha Forena Incheon Guwol, Hillstate Incheon City Hall Station and Hanshin The Hue Incheon City Hall Station (scheduled for completion), it is expected to serve as a central axis in reshaping the area into a new residential town.
As a large-scale branded complex with differentiated product appeal, it will also include various community facilities to enhance residents' quality of life. Sports facilities will include a golf range, screen golf, a GX room, a Pilates studio and showers, while children's care and education facilities will feature a kids' book house, group study room, single study room, kids' café and kids' gym. In addition, a variety of spaces such as an event room, private offices, a studio and a bubble café will support residents' work and leisure.
Forena The Sharp Incheon City Hall Station will have underground parking, creating a pedestrian-centric, car-free ground level to provide a safe and pleasant residential environment.
In particular, the complex will introduce advanced systems aligned with the latest trends, such as Homeniq and EV Air Station, to further enhance residents' convenience and residential quality. Homeniq is a smart-home system that allows residents to manage apartment life on a single platform, including lighting and appliance control, community facility reservations and checking maintenance fees. EV Air Station is a ceiling-mounted electric vehicle charging system first developed by Hanwha Construction Division, which improves space efficiency and can charge up to three vehicles simultaneously with a single charger, ensuring both efficiency and safety.
It will also roll out customized products tailored to residents' lifestyles. Offerings include Forena Edge Look, which applies an integrated design to wiring devices such as wall pads, switches and outlets; a robot vacuum storage cabinet; and a motorized louver system in which the outdoor unit louver opens automatically when the air conditioner is operating, with some items available as paid options. The living room features a coffered ceiling design for a greater sense of openness, and the kitchen, when the premium kitchen interior option (paid) is selected, is designed as a trendy open layout to combine efficient flow, family communication and practicality.
Jang Young-gi, sales director at Hanwha Construction Division, said, "Incheon has been excluded from the regulated area this time, raising expectations for a balloon effect," adding, "With a location that combines a large branded complex and the benefits of GTX-B, it will be an attractive choice for both end users and investors."
The model home for Forena The Sharp Incheon City Hall Station will open in Jan. in 1140-1, Guwol-dong, Namdong-gu, Incheon (near Incheon City Hall). Move-in is scheduled for Sept. 2029.
