Korea Real Estate Board (REB) said on the 15th that, together with Standard Chartered Bank Korea, it will launch the "Energy Saving Do Dream Installment Savings Product," which connects the public's energy-saving practices to financial benefits.
This product is a promotional installment savings product that provides an additional preferential interest rate of up to 5.3% based on the electricity savings rate over six months (January–June) compared with the same period a year earlier. A base rate of 2.4% plus a preferential rate of 1.1% applies, and with an additional preferential rate, up to 5.3% applies when the savings rate exceeds 5%.
Customers can receive benefits by applying through the Standard Chartered Bank Korea mobile app (application) from today through the 26th, and electricity usage information for the residence can be checked on the Green Architecture Portal website.
