DK Asia said on the 9th that it won the grand prize at the Climate Action Awards ceremony held on the 26th.
The Climate Action Awards honor eco-friendly public institutions, private companies, organizations, and individuals who take action to protect the global environment and overcome the climate crisis. The grand prize is given to only one recipient among all participants.
The premium resort city that DK Asia pursues aims to create a space where all generations feel moved in their ordinary daily lives.
A DK Asia official said that applying eco-friendly designs centered on Royal Park City residents in the landscaping category had a decisive impact on winning the grand prize.
DK Asia's eco-friendly landscaping capabilities are recognized internationally as well as in Korea. At the 2025 International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA) Awards held in Mumbai, India, in Nov., it unveiled 5D landscaping that for the first time in the world introduced the concept of time and a mulching technique inspired by the human-centered sculptural aesthetics of Renaissance architecture. Despite being its first entry, it received an Honourable Mention.
Recognized for excellence in eco-friendly landscaping and infrastructure, DK Asia also won the grand prize at the 2025 Korea Livable Apartment Contest. The award is given to the best complex after experts conduct on-site inspections of recently completed apartments and comprehensively evaluate eco-friendly landscaping, community facilities, housing services, and more.
Beyond landscaping, DK Asia provides a range of services for residents' healthy lives, including medical care, exercise, meals, and rest.
In the medical field, through an agreement with the Catholic Kwandong University College of Medicine's affiliate International St. Mary's Hospital, it introduced Korea's first direct, face-to-face medical service exclusively for residents. Comprehensive medical support is available, including emergency services, quick guidance and appointments, and personalized health information. International St. Mary's Hospital is a leading university hospital in Incheon.
At the complex's two-story indoor golf range, which has a 50-meter carry and GDR systems at every bay, residents can receive a 15-minute professional lesson per session from an on-site golf pro.
A hotel-style fitness center equipped with machines from the Italian luxury brand Technogym is also in operation. It created an expanded 5.6 km red-clay trail and offers a three-meal service operated by Shinsegae Food.
With the operation of the trackless train Royal Train, a feature usually seen only at large resorts, residents can conveniently enjoy world-class landscaping and various infrastructure.
Chairman Kim Jeong-mo of DK Asia said, "DK Asia has focused all its capabilities on making eco-friendly design a core value so residents can enjoy 'healthy rest' and experience 'a life where everyday is healing,'" adding, "We will continue to work to build a city where people and nature coexist, a sustainable eco-friendly future city."
