Booyoung Group O2 Resort said on the 4th that it will open its ski area on the 5th.
Booyoung Group O2 Resort in Taebaek, Gangwon, will add the expert course "Fashion 2" slope this season for skiers' fun and convenience, operating a total of eight slopes.
O2 Resort separates ski and snowboard slopes every year to prevent collisions between skiers and snowboarders, and is building a ski area where children and beginners can enjoy themselves safely and comfortably. Before opening, it conducted special rescue training with the Taebaek Fire Station to prepare for lift safety accidents and strengthened safety inspections of the ski area facilities.
This season, the O2 Resort ski area will extend a special courtesy to those who have devoted themselves to the nation and society, as a gesture of appreciation. Preferred groups include soldiers, police officers, firefighters and their families (four people including the pass holder), families with a tradition of military service, people of national merit, and veterans' beneficiaries, with discounts applied to the pass holder.
Various packages are also on sale. The "room package," which offers both value and convenience, is available from the 2025 ski area opening date through the 2026 closing date, and is configured to allow selection among a variety of room types such as Silver, Gold, Diamond, and low-rise apartment condo. Depending on the period of use, discounts of up to 38% are available, and the range of choices has been widened with options such as a breakfast package, lift package, and lift-and-rental package.
A "premium membership" that lets you enjoy O2 Resort year-round is also being sold in limited quantities. The premium membership offers ski, golf, and lodging as a single product. Including the 2025–2026 ski season pass, members can use major facilities such as the ski area, golf course, and condo at special preferred rates throughout all four seasons from the 2025 ski area opening date to the 2026 golf course closing date.
