Hoban Construction said on the 3rd that it developed Hoban Connect, a construction site–tailored AI simultaneous interpretation platform, with the AI specialist company "Math AI."
Hoban Connect is an AI translation service platform based on real-time multi-translation. It was developed to remove language barriers between site managers and foreign workers and to improve the efficiency of safety training and quality control. It can be used for communication with foreign workers, such as safety training and delivering notices. When the person in charge speaks in Korean, various foreign languages are displayed simultaneously as text.
It is characterized by learning and accumulating technical terms and expressions frequently used at construction sites, enabling continuous improvement of site-specialized translation quality. Going forward, the company plans to consider expanding the translation scope to the group and all affiliates and applying it to specialized documents such as laws and contracts.
