Seoul will supply 8,500 units of Moa housing in six areas in the northern part of the city.
The Seoul city government said on the 2nd that it passed the management plan for the Moa Town initiative to improve old low-rise residential areas at the 18th integrated review subcommittee for small-scale housing maintenance on the 1st.
The areas included in the management plan are: ▲ the area around 226-1 Jeongneung-dong, Seongbuk District, Moa Town initiative ▲ the area around 392-9 Suyu-dong, Gangbuk District, Moa Town initiative ▲ the area around 489 Dapsimni-dong, Dongdaemun District, Moa Town initiative ▲ the area around 299-8 Junghwa 2-dong, Jungnang District, Moa Town initiative ▲ the area around 46-1 Changjeon-dong, Mapo District, Moa Town initiative ▲ the area around 1021 Seonghyeon-dong, Gwanak District, Moa Town initiative.
In the area around 226-1 Jeongneung-dong, Seongbuk District, a total of 782 units (including 69 rental units) will be supplied through two Moa housing sites. Height and building regulation relaxations will be applied by changing from a Type 2 general residential area (seven stories or fewer) to a Type 2 general residential area. In addition, shared facilities such as community exercise facilities and rest yards, as well as a daycare center, a community child care center, and neighborhood living facilities, will be created to build a pleasant residential environment, and the road width will be expanded from the current 5 meters to 8–10 meters.
In the area around 392-9 Suyu-dong, Gangbuk District, five Moa housing sites will be promoted to supply a total of 2,595 units (including 577 rental units). Type 2 general (seven stories or fewer) areas within the target site will be upgraded to Type 3 general. The existing road width of 6 meters will be increased to up to 15 meters, and a park will be installed. Pedestrian paths and vehicle lanes will also be separated, and sections where vehicle entry and exit are prohibited will be designated to create a safer pedestrian environment.
In the area around 489 Dapsimni-dong, Dongdaemun District, 994 units (including 216 rental units) will be supplied through three Moa housing sites. The Type 2 general area will be upgraded to Type 3 general to secure business viability.
In the area around 299-8 Junghwa 2-dong, Jungnang District, a total of 1,800 units (including 286 rental units) will be supplied by promoting one street housing maintenance project currently under construction and three Moa housing sites that passed the review this time. New roads will be installed, and resident community facilities such as community exercise facilities, a small library, and a children's playground will be arranged.
In the area around 1021 Seonghyeon-dong, Gwanak District, 2,009 units (including 254 rental units) will be supplied through four Moa housing sites. Road widths will be expanded and sidewalks will be built to improve a poor walking environment. In addition, the northern section of Euncheon-ro 33-gil, where travel had been inconvenient due to level differences, will be leveled to enhance resident convenience.
