Chief Executive Park Sang-shin of DL E&C was promoted to vice chairman. DL Group said it made the appointments to strengthen leadership with proven performance and capability amid an uncertain business environment at home and abroad.
DL Group said on Dec. 1 that it carried out executive appointments for 2026.
Vice Chairman Park served as chief executive of Korea Development in 2016; head of the dwellings business unit at Daelim Construction (now DL E&C) in 2017; and chief executive of Daelim Construction in 2018, before being appointed chief executive of DL E&C last year.
Despite the recent slump in the construction industry, Vice Chairman Park demonstrated outstanding management and control abilities, achieving performance such as normalizing results and discovering new businesses. In particular, Park was recognized for continuing selective orders focused on profitability and building the highest level of financial stability in the construction industry.
Jeong In, head of compliance management at DL E&C, was appointed chief executive of Daelim Corp. Lee Jeong-eun, chief design officer (CDO) at DL E&C, will concurrently serve as chief executive of Glad Hotel & Resort.
Hwang Gyu-seon, head of planning and management at DL E&C, was selected as chief operating officer (COO) of Daelim Corp.
