Hoban Group's Hoban Property is expanding win-win initiatives by partnering with a local educational institution to unveil a Christmas video.
Avenue France Pangyo, operated by Hoban Property, said on the 28th that it is collaborating with students from the Department of Video Design at Shingu University to produce and broadcast digital signage videos themed around Christmas. Planned as part of ESG activities, the project aims to strengthen ties with local educational institutions near Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province.
Avenue France Pangyo and Shingu University students have collaborated since May to produce two 3D motion-graphics Christmas season videos. The videos, themed "Christmas preparations" and "Christmas Unboxing," will be shown on digital signage within Avenue France Pangyo through the end of the year. In May, Avenue France Pangyo installed 29 large digital signage displays on exterior walls, including the central plaza.
On the 26th, Hoban Property also supported a special event by offering the Avenue France Pangyo Green Lounge space free of charge and inviting prospective freshmen of the Department of Video Design at Shingu University. The event brought together faculty and about 30 students for activities including ▲ viewing the collaboration project and sharing the production process ▲ an introduction to the department and mentoring ▲ a roulette event.
A Hoban Property official said, "Through this collaboration project with Shingu University, we have created year-end content that Avenue France customers and local youth can enjoy together," adding, "We will continue to carry out diverse win-win activities and ESG management based on close cooperation with the local community."
Yang Beom-seok, an adjunct professor in the Department of Video Design at Shingu University, said, "It was a meaningful experience for the 3D motion-graphics videos produced by students to be showcased on Avenue France's large displays," adding, "We are grateful to Hoban Property for actively supporting the collaboration."
