Korea Land & Housing Corporation (LH) said on the 28th it will recruit tenants for 1,003 units of public sale dwellings at the Newlywed Hope Town in block A-2 of the Gunpo Daeyami district.
Block A-2 of the Gunpo Daeyami district has a total of 1,511 units and is a mixed complex of public sale and Happy Housing. Of these, 1,003 are public sale units being supplied this time, and the number for the main application (general application) is 439 units, excluding 564 units allotted for advance application as of the announcement date.
By exclusive area, there are 946 units of 55 square meters and 57 units of 59 square meters; in particular, the 59-square-meter duplex units allow a lifestyle with separate living room and bedroom. The complex will be built with a maximum of 28 floors across 19 buildings in total, with move-in scheduled for Aug. 2029.
With the price cap system applied, the sale price is offered at an average of 410 million won (based on 55 square meters), a reasonable level compared with market prices. Resale is restricted for three years, but there is no obligation to reside. In addition, a dedicated mortgage loan product for Newlywed Hope Town is available, allowing use of up to 70% of the dwelling price (limit of 400 million won) for up to 30 years at an annual interest rate of 1.3%.
Applications will be accepted starting Dec. 8 in the order of advance-application winners and then main-application (general application) applicants, with winners announced on Dec. 19 and contracts to be concluded in April 2026.
As it is a Newlywed Hope Town, a variety of child-friendly community spaces will be provided within the complex, from an on-site daycare center to a community care center and a small library, and it offers excellent educational conditions as it is closest to the planned kindergarten, elementary and middle schools in the district. The model house can be viewed by visiting the LH Dongtan Housing Exhibition Center (519-1, Cheonggye-dong, Hwaseong, Gyeonggi), and the unit layouts and interiors can also be viewed on the sales website (www.lhgd-a2.co.kr).
