Oil-geun Oh, the head (vice president) of Lotte Property & Development, has been nominated as the new CEO of Lotte Engineering & Construction.
Lotte Group on the 26th held board meetings of its affiliates, including LOTTE Corporation, and carried out its "2026 regular executive appointments" as such.
Born in 1968, Oh graduated from Gyeongseong High School and the business administration department of Sogang University, and earned a master's degree in finance at the same school. Joining Lotte World in 1993, Oh went through the Lotte Policy Office and Lotte Mart. He then moved to Lotte Property & Development in 2016 and has served as CEO since 2022.
The group expects Vice President Oh to be the right person to swiftly restore the financial soundness of Lotte Engineering & Construction, which was weakened by the project financing (PF) crisis. Vice President Oh is said to have been recognized for his expertise in real estate development and his ability to advance the business portfolio.
