Korea Overseas Infrastructure & Urban Development Corporation (KIND) said on the 24th that it carried out an advanced training program this year for talent in overseas investment and development projects.
The training was prepared to cultivate professionals in the overseas investment and development field.
The curriculum covered essential topics for overseas investment and development projects, including structuring public-private partnership (PPP) projects, project financing (PF), and risk management for overseas projects. Curricula of varying difficulty were applied to reflect each practitioner's rank and experience.
The instructors consist not only of internal experts at KIND but also experts in the private sector and the public overseas investment field. KIND prepared this training to strengthen networking among experts in the infrastructure development market and to provide knowledge across various fields.
By combining practice-oriented instruction with field experiences, the program allowed trainees to visit infrastructure facilities directly and improve their practical understanding.
A KIND official said, "To sustain growth in overseas investment and development projects, it is important to secure professional talent," and added, "With this training focused on developing practice-ready talent, overseas investment by Korean corporations and orders for overseas projects will further expand."
