HL D&I Halla said on the 24th it won the 453.1 billion won "The Hyundai Busan new construction" ordered by Hanmoo Shopping Co., Ltd.
"The Hyundai Busan" is planned to include retail, education and research, and sports facilities, with one basement level and four above ground on a site of 86,015 square meters (about 26,020 pyeong) and a total floor area of 198,781.11 square meters (about 60,131 pyeong) in Special Planning District 2 C5 of Eco Delta City, Gangseo District, Busan. The construction period is 23 months from the start date.
HL D&I Halla built Hyundai Department Store Daegu and Pangyo, and Hyundai Outlet Songdo and Namyangju. It also built the new headquarters of Hyundai Department Store, six floors underground to 14 floors above ground, in Samseong-dong, Gangnam District, Seoul.
An HL D&I Halla official said, "We will continue to collaborate with high-quality private-sector clients in building construction based on our advanced execution capabilities."
Meanwhile, HL D&I Halla posted 25.5 billion won in operating profit on a consolidation basis in the third quarter this year. That was up 93% from a year earlier. The order backlog at the end of the third quarter was about 5.4 trillion won.
