Korea Developer Association (KODA) said on the 17th that it will hold the 20th anniversary event "A.N.D 20" (ALL NEW DEVELOPER PROJECT 20) on the 20th at Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas in Samseong-dong, Seoul.
This event is where KODA, which has led the growth of the domestic developer industry over the past 20 years, will declare its future vision and the direction for the next 20 years. Major figures from Korea and abroad and industry officials are expected to attend.
The commemorative event, under the theme "A start for the next 20 years," will consist of a global developer conference, a developer future vision proclamation, a CI renewal unveiling, the launch of the Korea Real Estate Development Industry Institute (K-REDII), and the KODA Developer Awards ceremony.
The event begins with a welcome dinner for overseas invitees and major domestic developers on the 19th, followed by the main session on the 20th. On the morning of the 20th, the "Global Developer Conference" will be held with executives from leading global real estate developers, including Kushner Companies of the United States, Mori Building of Japan, EDGE of the Netherlands, and Korea's MDM Group. In part 1, speakers will give keynote presentations on "Paradigm shifts among global developers and the future of developers in Korea." In part 2, speakers will continue with a panel discussion and roundtable on "Developers in Korea: a leap toward the next 100 years."
The main afternoon program will feature a "vision proclamation." KODA will officially announce a vision centered on the following for the next 20 years: ▲ strengthening public interest and transparency ▲ data-driven industrial innovation ▲ establishing financial stability and risk management systems ▲ ESG-based urban development ▲ expanding the global network.
A new CI symbolizing the 20th anniversary will be unveiled for the first time that day. The CI renewal, in collaboration with world-renowned creative director Park Yeong-ha, captures the philosophy of ▲ innovation ▲ transparency ▲ sustainability under the value of "a 20-year leap with global developers."
In addition, the Korea Real Estate Development Industry Institute (K-REDII) will be newly launched. K-REDII, an expansion and reorganization of the policy research office into an independent research body, will serve as a research hub to drive innovation and strengthen public interest in the real estate development industry, carrying out ▲ research on advanced development models ▲ policy proposals based on public-private partnerships ▲ development finance and business feasibility analyses, thereby supporting the industry's sustainable development.
Kim Seung-bae, president of the Korea Developer Association, said, "This 20th anniversary event will be a venue to declare the opening of a new 20 years for the domestic developer industry," adding, "We will strengthen the industry's trust and public interest and build a globally competitive ecosystem so that developers in Korea can grow together with the global market."
