SK ecoplant said on the 9th that it won the contract for the "Gwangmyeong 13-1·2 district integrated redevelopment project" in Gwangmyeong, Gyeonggi, on the 8th.
The project will build apartments and ancillary welfare facilities with nine buildings, from three floors underground to 43 floors above ground, totaling 824 households, at 43-4 Gwangmyeong-dong, Gwangmyeong, Gyeonggi. The total contract amount is about 303 billion won.
The site is within a 10-minute walk of Gwangmyeongsageori Station on Seoul Subway Line 7, making it a station-area location. The Seobu Urban Expressway is also nearby, allowing easy access to central Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon.
Gwangmyeongnam Elementary School, Gwangmyeong Middle School, Gyeonggi Aviation High School, and Myeongmun High School are nearby, offering strong educational conditions. There are also plenty of amenities, including Emart and Gwangmyeong Traditional Market. Anyang Stream is close, making it convenient to use.
SK ecoplant noted that multiple maintenance and development projects, including Gwangmyeong 7·9·11·12R, are underway near the site and the Anyang Stream development project is also planned, so improvements in the residential environment and an increase in housing value are expected going forward.
