Hoban Construction said on the 31st that it achieved an "excellent" rating in the "2024 the Shared Growth Index evaluation" released by the Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership. Hoban Construction has maintained an "excellent" or higher rating every year for nine years since 2017.
The Shared Growth Index evaluation is an indicator introduced to assess the level of win-win cooperation between large companies and small and midsize enterprises. It is announced by adding, in equal proportion, the results of the "comprehensive shared growth evaluation" by the Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership and the "fair trade agreement compliance evaluation" by the Fair Trade Commission.
Hoban Construction received high marks for various support programs it operates to pursue shared growth with partners. The company selects outstanding partners each year for awards, and provides shared growth support funds and management stabilization funds, efforts that were recognized for helping strengthen partners' competitiveness.
In addition, Hoban Construction operates practical welfare and support programs such as partners' open innovation projects, financial consulting, job training for employees, and holiday gifts. It earned high scores by contributing to partners' liquidity through prompt payment of construction costs.
In particular, Hoban Construction in 2021 became the first in the construction industry to sign an agreement with the Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership for a "partner ESG support program," supporting partners' sustainable management. Hoban Group has granted more than 100 billion won over the past eight years to the win-win cooperation fund for large and small companies and rural communities, taking the lead in spreading a culture of shared growth.
Along with this, Hoban Construction and Hoban Industries received a "top" rating in the "mutual cooperation evaluation among construction contractors" released by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport in Jul.
