At the "Grand Partners Fiesta" held that day at the Amoris Hall in GS Tower in Yeoksam-dong, Seoul, Huh Yoon-hong said, "Partner companies are not just business partners but customers and companions of GS Engineering and Construction," adding, "We will steadfastly continue the path of mutual growth based on trust and cooperation."
The event was prepared to discuss plans for mutual growth with about 120 heads of partner companies.
GS Engineering and Construction is operating the "Great Partnership Package" with the goal of establishing subcontracting transaction order and co-prosperity. Through this, it is continuously pushing forward effective systems in four areas: fair transactions, financial support, strengthening competitiveness, and horizontal communication.
GS Engineering and Construction places "safety" as a core value of management and supports on-site safety management by partner companies. By providing safety and health management expenses in advance and subsidizing the placement costs of safety personnel, it eases the burden on partners, and it runs a "visiting safety innovation school" to provide systematic training for site managers and safety personnel.
Financial support is also being strengthened to help stabilize partners' business operations. GS Engineering and Construction operates 15 billion won in annual management support funds and a 30 billion won mutual growth fund, supporting interest on loans and more. This year, it granted a 4 billion won mutual growth cooperation fund to help build an industrial ecosystem that supports small and midsize enterprises' research and development, productivity improvement, and workforce training.
Huh said, "Even in a rapidly changing environment, if we cooperate with the values of safety, mutual growth, and ethical management at the center, we can grow without wavering in any crisis," adding, "We will spare no support so partner companies can deliver the best results."
