Korea Developer Association (KODA) said on the 27th that it is carrying out a CI renewal to mark the 20th anniversary of its founding, reflecting the association's identity and vision.
Kim Seung-bae, president of the Korea Developer Association, said, "Marking the 20th anniversary of our founding, we determined it was necessary to visually reestablish the association's identity and future vision," and added, "The new CI, under the value of '20 years of leap with global developers,' will embody innovation, transparency, and sustainability."
The CI renewal is being carried out in collaboration with creative director Park Young-ha. Park served as lead designer at the New York studio of Karim Rashid, one of the world's three major industrial designers; senior designer at the Korea office of Interbrand, the world's largest brand consulting group; design director at SPC Group; and creative director at Starbucks Korea.
Park oversaw major projects at home and abroad, including the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics look design; the Paris Baguette BI renewal; the establishment of a local design system for Starbucks Korea; the BTS+Starbucks global collaboration; the Jongga kimchi Blast pop-up; the title logo design for Na Hoon-a's 2023 new song music video; and the design of Dokdo Soju "East Sea 22" distilled soju.
Kim Dae-gun, deputy head of the 20th-anniversary project team that recruited director Park Young-ha (chairman of Regun Group), said, "This CI renewal is part of a symbolic effort signaling the association's innovative leap," and added, "We will unveil the new CI at the 'A.N.D 20' 20th-anniversary event to be held on Nov. 20."
At A.N.D 20, the Korea Developer Association's 20th-anniversary event, executives of leading global developers such as the United States' Kushner Companies, Japan's Mori Building, and the Netherlands' EDGE, along with key domestic figures, are expected to attend.
