Seoul Housing and Urban Development Corporation (SH) said on the 24th it will supply a total of 1,598 redevelopment rental dwellings.
SH will accept applications for 615 vacant units at existing complexes created by tenant move-outs and contract cancellations, and 983 units for preliminary tenants.
Exclusive areas of the dwellings range from 20 to 47 square meters, with rental terms of deposits of about 5.62 million to 43.49 million won and monthly rents of about 60,000 to 340,000 won.
Eligibility for general supply requires being a member of a household without a home, residing in Seoul as of the date of the tenant recruitment notice, with household income at or below 70% of the urban worker monthly average (priority 1 at or below 50%, priority 2 at or below 70%), total household asset at or below 307 million won, and household vehicle value at or below 45.63 million won.
Applications will be accepted online and by mobile for priority on Nov. 4 to 7, and for secondary priority on Nov. 11. If the number of priority applicants exceeds 200% of the number of units supplied, secondary priority applications will not be accepted.
Applicants such as older adults and people with disabilities who have difficulty using the internet can apply in person on Nov. 5 to 7 at the 2nd-floor auditorium of the SH headquarters in Gangnam-gu.
Document screening candidates will be announced on Nov. 25, winners on Apr. 23 next year, and move-ins will be possible from June next year.
