Hanwha's construction division and POSCO E&C said on the 22nd that they plan to begin sales in Nov. for Forena The Sharp Incheon City Hall Station, to be built around 311-1, Ganseok-dong, Namdong-gu, Incheon.
The complex will be supplied through the Sangincheon Elementary School redevelopment project and will consist of 24 buildings with 4 basement levels to a maximum of 35 above-ground floors. Of the total 2,568 units with exclusive areas of 39 to 84 square meters, 735 will be offered for general sale.
Forena The Sharp Incheon City Hall Station offers convenient public transportation, with Incheon City Hall Station serving Incheon Subway Lines 1 and 2 and Ganseok Ogeori Station on Line 1 within walking distance. Access to the First and Second Capital Area Ring Expressways and the Second Gyeongin Expressway is also easy via Gyeongin-ro. Using intercity buses, it takes around one hour to reach Seoul's Hapjeong and Hongik Univ. Station areas, accommodating commuter demand to Seoul.
In addition, Metropolitan Express Railway (GTX)-B service is planned to open at Incheon City Hall Station. The GTX-B line is an east-west high-speed rail network spanning about 82.8 kilometers from Songdo, Incheon, to Maseok, Namyangju, Gyeonggi, enabling fast travel to key business districts in Seoul, including Yeouido, Yongsan, Seoul Station, and Cheongnyangni. Once it opens, the travel time from University of Incheon Entrance Station to Seoul Station is expected to be 30 minutes.
The complex is a "chopuma" community with Sangincheon Elementary School right in front, and nearby schools include Sangincheon Middle School, Guwol Middle School, Ganseok Girls' Middle School, Sinmyeong Girls' High School, Inje High School, and Incheon Arts High School. Access to cram school clusters in nearby Guwol-dong is also expected to be convenient.
It also has daily-life infrastructure. Large shopping facilities such as Homeplus Co. (Guwol) and Lotte Department Store (Incheon), as well as major public and medical institutions including Incheon City Hall, Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency, Ganseok 1-dong Administrative Welfare Center, Incheon Culture and Arts Center, and Gachon Gil Medical Center, are close by.
Ihwa Children's Park is located right in front of the complex. The park includes exercise facilities, walking trails, and tennis courts, and it is close to Central Park, which stretches a total of 3.9 kilometers, along with pocket parks and Manwol Mountain, offering a pleasant residential environment with abundant green space.
Together with previously supplied projects such as Hanwha Forena Incheon Guwol (Dabok Village Zone, completed in 2023), Hillstate Incheon City Hall Station (Baegun 1 Zone, completed in 2024), and Incheon City Hall Station Hanshin The Hue (Ganseok Seongnak Apartment Zone, scheduled for completion in 2025), the area is expected to serve as a central axis in reshaping the neighborhood into a new residential town.
The complex is a large-scale branded community with differentiated product features, and various community facilities will be built. There will be a golf practice range, screen golf, a GX room, a Pilates studio, and showers, as well as a kids' book house, group study room, single study rooms, kids' café, and kids' gym for childcare and education. In addition, facilities for residents' work and leisure, such as an event room, private offices, a studio, and a bubble café, are planned.
A Hanwha construction division official said, "Incheon has been excluded from the regulated areas this time, and expectations for a spillover effect are growing," adding, "With a location that combines the merits of a branded large-scale complex and the benefits of GTX-B, it will be an attractive choice for both end users and investors."
