POSCO E&C said on the 20th that it will officially unveil the high-end interior product "The Atelier Edition," developed with world-renowned interior designer Yang Tae-o, on Nov. 7 at L'Espace Etna Cheongdam in Seoul.
This product features the presentation of a "complete residential space" where artistry and technology are in harmony, by adding designer Yang Tae-o's aesthetics to the identity of POSCO E&C's high-end residential brand Hauterre.
Yang has collaborated on exhibitions with global brands such as Fendi and the Chanel Culture Fund, and has expressed a harmonious blend of Korean beauty and modern sensibilities through spatial design for venues including the Gyeongju National Museum and the Lotte World Tower lounge.
He was also the first Korean to be named to the "Top 100 Designers in the World" selected by the global design magazines Architectural Digest and Phaidon.
The Atelier Edition goes beyond merely proposing interior finishes and is a "complete residential space product" personally designed by Yang Tae-o, covering the overall tone and mood of the space, including furniture∙lighting∙home styling.
At the unveiling event, experiential programs are planned, including "Art Catering," which expresses the design concept through desserts; a meditative "hang drum performance"; and an "Eastern Edition furniture exhibition" inspired by Korean traditional crafts, marked with symbols such as ▲.
