Winners will be announced on Nov. 5, and contract signing will take place over three days on the 17th–19th of the same month.
Doosan Engineering & Construction's high-end brand Doosan We've the Zenith has been applied to this apartment. It directly adjoins the planned Uncheon Neighborhood Park, which spans about 239,600㎡, and it is also a forest-adjacent complex near Myeongsim Mountain and Musim Stream.
In terms of transportation, the complex offers good access across Cheongju with the No. 1 Ring Road directly in front, as well as Jikji-daero and Saun-ro nearby. Travel to other regions is convenient via the Gyeongbu Expressway and Jungbu Expressway. Homeplus, Cheongju Medical Center, Cheongju Arts Center, and Citizens' Sports Park are also easy to use as daily amenities.
Job-housing proximity is also excellent. Within a 5-kilometer radius are Cheongju Technopolis and the Cheongju General Industrial Complex, where major companies such as SK hynix, LG CHEM, and LS ELECTRIC (ELECTRIC) are located. Doosan Engineering & Construction expects both end-user demand and investment demand to be strong, backed by a solid base of workers.
Development catalysts are also planned. First, Bongmyeong-dong (the site of the Cheongju Agricultural and Marine Products Wholesale Market) adjacent to the complex has been designated as an urban regeneration innovation district, which is expected to bring additional benefits. This district, with a total area of about 44,000㎡, will house a mixed array of offices, dwellings, social overhead capital (SOC) for daily life, and commercial facilities. Infrastructure such as 238 units of multifamily housing, a women's integrated community center, a complex cultural library, and smart offices is also planned.
According to Cheongju City Hall, numerous maintenance projects are planned in the original downtown where the complex will be built, including Doosan We've the Zenith Cheongju Central Park and the currently selling Sajik District 1, as well as Sajik District 4, Samo District 1, and Samo District 2. Once the projects are completed, the area around the complex is expected to be reborn as an emerging residential area with more than 10,000 households.
The complex is oriented mainly to the south, and all units feature a slab-type layout to maximize daylighting and ventilation. Glass balustrade windows are introduced in the units to secure views, and some units offer views of Uncheon Park.
A storage-specialized design has been applied to enhance space utilization and everyday convenience. Some units feature a specialized exterior design through an upgraded facade. Sports facilities such as a fitness center, golf practice range, and group exercise (GX) room, as well as community facilities such as a cafe lounge, study room, and small library, are also planned.
